Born in 1382, Shire Reckoning, in Bucklebury in the Shire, Master of Buckland, son of Saradoc Brandybuck. I was sworn as a soldier to Theoden of Rohan, journeyed with Frodo during the War of the Ring, and died in 1491 Shire Reckoning. Here I tell my little hobbit's tale in my own cradle-tongue, Westron. Dedicated to my beloved little fool.
